（1） Antenatal ironing
It mainly aims at pre shrinking the cut pieces to prevent deformation of the garment pieces due to heating and humidification during intermediate ironing, which affects the size specifications of the finished garment.
（2） Intermediate ironing
The purpose is not only to flatten the fabric surface and seam allowance, but also to make the garment more conformable to the curve changes of the human body through intermediate ironing, making up for the three-dimensional effects that cannot be achieved by the sewing process. Only when sewing and ironing are closely linked and well coordinated can the three-dimensional feel and dimensional stability of ready-made clothes be ensured.
